Graduation Day for SPES (May 29, 2010)

It's our graduation day for SPES, I will not perform a dance number due to lack of time for practice and I wasn't able to attend on our dance rehearsals, and i'm not interested in dancing at all. I'm not the worst dancer in the world, I can dance but not that good, i just don't feel like doing something i'm not good with.
This day was one of the most memorable experience I had in DepEd, bonding with my officemates, taking group pictures and laughing with them is something that I will surely miss.
The Graduation Party started on time, thank God there was no cause of delay. Each group gave there best performance knowing that they had only 5 days to practice. I enjoyed every group performance, they have there own creativity.I found out that Stephen was a good dancer, Angeline and Alfrick gave there best moves also.
Sir. Louis of CSCA was the apple of my eye during the night, I really admire his personality and his smiling face. I even asked him to have a picture taken with me, he was nice that he even put his arms on my shoulder.I was so kilig! hahaha :D
Certificates and gifts were given during the party, and dinner was served.

Alay Lakad May 01, 2010

First time ko mag alay-lakad for the feast of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, i can't believe that I had walked that far, Imagine!, i walked from New Manila to Antipolo. When we were about to reach Pasig City, my feet were aching, may "paltos" na ang left foot ko sa talampakan! How cruel!. Pero naisip ko na this is a challenge to my faith, if I gave up I did not trust the Lord, so I insist to continue walking. I did not mind Turok's urge to let me quit, because he thought that we cannot make it. Janeth and Julie was also demanding in the middle of our walk, we kept on telling Turok to stop for a while so we can gain a little energy to walk again. We rest for number of times that's why we were left behind by are neighbors, they walk fast. Turok was arguing with us, he told us that he could have been there already if we did not join, we were too slow, and we kept on resting.
To forget the pain in my feet, I kept on singing and joking so we can’t feel the pain it brings. Janeth, Turok and Julie will laugh with me, and those laughs are really priceless. It’s very rare that we have bonding because most of us are really busy with school and work. Turok and I had time to chill and talk, we talked about his love affairs, and his only love. He was funny that he would even talk with actions. So cute: D I told him my plans in life, my goals, same way with him, He told me that he wants to graduate and College and find a stable job. He looks forward in working abroad.
The pain in my feet becomes worst when we were in the high part of Antipolo; I kept on tolerating the pain because we were near the church. We hold Turok’s arm so I can have force to walk. I can feel Julie and Janeth were also at there worst already. When we were about to reach the church, I felt like I can’t stand the pain, as if there were someone trying to pull me , but I did not let myself stop, I did my bets to reach the place. I don’t want to disappoint myself. At 2am we reached Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, it felt so good; I was amazed with myself because I did such sacrifice like this. We entered the church and do say our own prayers, I wished for one thing, and that is to keep my family away from any sickness. That's all I wanted, not any material thing , just safety for my family will make any sacrifice worthwhile. I lied in the floor with my friends and I did my best to say my prayer despite of my eagerness to sleep and rest. I still want to go around the church but I'm really sleepy and tired.Truly it was an unforgettable experience. The pain was all worth it, because I know it’s for my faith and my Lord. See you next year!
Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, pray for us.

FAMILY OTUING 2010

Family outing is what I looked up to every summer time. For almost two years we did not have summer outing together, and I really missed those times. And I’m happy that it became possible again, this time with my sexy aunt Helen who arrived from Canada a month ago for a vacation. I was excited to see my cousins, nieces and nephews. Although we were not complete we still tried our best to pursue the outing. The swimming destination was not far from Ate Gie’s home in Windward, Dasmariňas Cavite. There were three swimming pools in the resort. We bought so many foods and drinks. I don’t know how we going to consume all of them.

My nieces and nephews look like they were enjoying playing around the pool. Totoy; uncle Lando’s son loves the water, he don’t mind of he gets drowned in the water. I was observing my nieces and I can’t believe that they are growing so fast, that I would remember how I used to play and carry them when they were toddlers. Angel and Patricia in just little months will be teenagers already, Patricia and John-john will be in high school this school year. How time flied so fast.

I played with my cousins in the pool; Ate Aby, Mac, Ryan, and my sister and brother. I enjoyed swimming, because I know little swimming strokes from my P.E. Class. Aunt Helen and his fiancee would observe us from the cottage, they looks like enjoying watching us from a distance. Kim Cedric, the new baby boy of the family was the apple of our eyes. He has his own pool; he enjoys holding the water and stamping his feet. So cute boy! Madear was smiling seeing his only grandson. Kuya Cesar and Mac enjoyed playing volleyball in the pool.We had a full Lunch together, foods were really yummy, the sopas prepared by Ate Lilay was the best Sopas I had ever taste, and it makes me crave even more. Taking pictures was the usual thing to us; we even took pictures and videos under the water.Ate gie would join us in jumping in the pool and someone would take a picture of it. How fun it was! My camera was full with pictures of my sister Shella, she is a certified cameraholic. This outing was also the time for us to catch up with each others, to make “kwento” about what’s going on with our lives.

In the middle of the outing I can’t help but miss my closest cousins, Katherine and Kristel. With outings like this we were always together, but this time it wasn’t. But I understand the situation, I just really miss them, and I hope one day things will be better.

Nothing ever compares to the feeling of spending a day with your family. They are the best gift to me, the only thing that makes me happy.

Truly, it was the most peaceful outing we ever had, it was relaxed and everybody was just happy. Thanks to Aunt Helen and Ate Gie for making it possible:D

Now a Working Girl

My first day of work was not different from the first time I stepped in college, I was a bit nervous and at the same time excited. This is actually my first time to work, and like other first timers I don't have any idea of how it feels like working in a government agency like Department of Education. I'm not used to wearing formal attires; I’m comfortable in wearing jeans and a plain blouse or polo shirt, matched with my flat sandals. But now I'm starting to build my career, I should learn to follow rules and regulations, and as what said in the orientation, proper attire must be observed, so no choice for me!

I woke up early in my first day of work; I traveled 30 to 40 minutes before I reached Department of Education. I meet Angeline in the gate, and we were together in the line at CSCA. I don't have idea of what unit I was assigned; until I found my fellow trainees in the same unit I was assigned. We introduced ourselves, and I think they are nice people.I found out that Stephen and Mayjoy are my schoolmates, Alfrick is from University of the East and Arnold from the Pamantasan ng Pasig. Even though we just met, we are very much comfortable with each other, and we talked about so many things about our school, courses and a little background about ourselves.

When we were delivered in our assigned unit, we met the head and the staff of Communication Unit. They were always laughing and I knew they were happy persons; they will laugh during our short interview.I just hope and pray that I will do my best in every task that will be assigned to me. I'm looking forward to an exciting and enjoyable working experience.
